 In Healthcare Transformation

Change Healthcare has been named U.S. Company of the Year by Conexx, a non-profit network that helps build business relationships between American and Israeli companies.

This year’s award was bestowed at the 2019 Conexx Gala, held at the Atlanta History Center in Atlanta, Ga. The Gala is a community flagship event honoring individuals and companies who have contributed most to the Southeast U.S.-Israel economic relationship. Change Healthcare was singled out for its efforts to help expand digital health innovation in Israel.

“It was a great honor to be recognized by Connexx at this year’s gala,” said Loretta Cecil, EVP and General Counsel, Change Healthcare, who accepted the award on behalf of the company. “We are very proud of the cutting-edge work our colleagues are conducting in Israel, and look forward to further collaboration with the Israeli digital health community.”

Others recognized at this year’s gala were Jorge Fernandez, former VP of Global Commerce at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and Oded Shorer, Director of Economy & Trade for the Consulate General of Israel, who shared Conexx’s Tom Glaser Leadership Award. Also honored in addition to Change Healthcare were Networx, named Israeli Company of the Year, and Mueller Co., which was honored for Deal of the Year.

Conexx is one of most successful and effective bi-national business organizations in North America. Since its founding more than 26 years ago, Conexx delivers great value to Israeli companies seeking U.S. market entry, and to American companies seeking entry into Israel along with access to ground-breaking technologies.
