I went to Kroger because I heard from so many people that they were cheaper. I am on a high deductible plan and there was no difference in cost between Kroger and Walgreens. Walgreens had fewer elderly patients (making their service much faster) and was much more convenient.

Twice in the last three months, this Walgreens has not entered in my prescription after it was faxed to them. The first time they even made me call back my Doctor before they ever checked their written records. Both times the faxes were in their archives but were never entered into their computers! Despite it's convenience, I am permanently switching to another pharmacy due to their inconsistencies in care. I've never had any such problems with CVS.
