Children's Hospital is great - truly a blessing to have. The main hospital is a teaching hospital as well, but varies drastically in the level of service depending on the day and staff.

I had to go to the Vanderbilt ER for a severe stomach infection. Due to the amount of pain I was in, I was rushed from the door to a bed within 2 minutes. My doctors were fantastic and spent more time than necessary treating me. My nurses were also fantastic and courteous. They made my stay much more enjoyable than it could have been otherwise.
